By downloading, installing, or using Easy QR Scanner ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
These terms apply to all users of the App.
Easy QR Scanner is a free, offline mobile application for Android that allows you to scan QR codes and barcodes using your camera or images from your gallery, and to generate QR codes and barcodes of various formats.
The App stores all data locally on your device. It does not require an internet connection for its core functionality. Optional features such as the in-app browser and URL page title fetching require an internet connection when used.
The App is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App at any time.
You agree to use Easy QR Scanner only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.
You must not use the App to scan or generate codes that facilitate illegal activity, including but not limited to fraud, unauthorized access to systems, distribution of malware, or any activity prohibited by the laws of your jurisdiction.
You must not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
You are solely responsible for the content of QR codes and barcodes you generate using the App, and for the use you make of information obtained by scanning codes.
The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by the developer. All rights reserved.
Nothing in these terms grants you any right to the App's source code, intellectual property, or branding beyond the right to use the App as described herein.
You retain full ownership of any QR codes or barcodes you generate using the App.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that scanning results will be accurate in all circumstances.
Barcode scanning accuracy depends on the quality of the physical code, camera hardware, and lighting conditions. We cannot guarantee that every code will be readable.
Generated codes are produced based on your inputs. You are responsible for verifying that generated codes encode the correct information before use.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including any loss resulting from scanning incorrect codes or generating incorrect codes.
We are not responsible for the content of QR codes or barcodes scanned by the App, or for any consequences of acting on that content.
We reserve the right to release updates that modify or remove features of the App at any time.
You may stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App constitutes termination of your use and permanently removes all locally stored data.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
