IMPORTANT NOTE

QR Sphere stores all data locally on your device only. There are no user accounts, no cloud databases, and no servers that hold your information. This means you can delete all your data instantly, at any time, directly from within the app or by uninstalling it.

01

What Data QR Sphere Stores

QR Sphere stores only the following data, and all of it is kept locally on your device:

QR Scan History — A list of QR codes you have scanned, including the decoded content, timestamp, and format. Stored using Android SharedPreferences.

Barcode Scan History — A separate list of barcodes you have scanned, stored the same way.

App Settings — Your preferences for beep on scan, vibrate on scan, and theme mode. Stored using Android SharedPreferences.

Downloaded QR Images — Any QR code images you chose to download are saved to the "QR Sphere" folder in your device's Downloads directory.

No personal information, no account data, and no identifiers are stored anywhere.

Downloaded QR images saved to your Downloads folder are not automatically removed when uninstalling. To delete those, navigate to the "QR Sphere" folder in your Downloads directory and delete the files manually before or after uninstalling.

  1. Long-press the QR Sphere icon on your home screen or app drawer.
  2. Tap Uninstall and confirm.
  3. All scan history and settings are permanently erased.
04

Clearing App Data via Android Settings

You can also clear all stored data without uninstalling the app through Android's built-in storage settings:

  1. Go to your device's Settings → Apps.
  2. Find and tap QR Sphere.
  3. Tap Storage.
  4. Tap Clear Data. This permanently deletes all scan history and settings stored by the app.
05

No Server-Side Data to Delete

Because QR Sphere does not collect or transmit any personal data, there is no data stored on any server or database to request deletion of. All of your data exists exclusively on your own device.

We have no user accounts, no cloud storage, and no backend systems that hold anything about you. The steps above are the complete and only data deletion process required.
