🛡
KEY FACT

NoNoise AI does not maintain a user database. Audio files uploaded for processing are temporarily stored on our server and deleted after download. All other data (processing history, preferences) lives only on your device. You can delete everything instantly, at any time.

01

What Data NoNoise AI Stores

On our server (temporary):

Audio files you upload are stored temporarily in Firebase Storage (Google Cloud Storage) during and briefly after processing. They are assigned an unguessable random URL. These files are deleted once you download the result, or when you explicitly request deletion via the app.

On your device (local only):

Processing History — File names and timestamps of files you have processed. Stored in a local SQLite database. Never uploaded.

App Preferences — Subscription status, settings. Stored in SharedPreferences on your device.

Downloaded Files — MP3 files you download are saved to your Music/NoNoise Ai folder on your device's local storage.

Deleting Data From Inside the App

Delete individual processed files:

  1. Open the app and tap the Studio tab at the bottom.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu on any file in your list.
  3. Tap Delete and confirm. This removes the entry from your local history.

Delete server-side audio files:

  1. In the Studio tab, tap the ⋮ menu on a processed file.
  2. Tap Delete. The app also sends a deletion request to our server, removing the file from Firebase Storage.

Delete downloaded MP3 files from your device:

  1. Open your device's Files or Music app.
  2. Navigate to Music → NoNoise Ai folder.
  3. Select and delete any files you want to remove.
03

Deleting All Data by Uninstalling

Uninstalling NoNoise AI permanently deletes all locally stored data: processing history, app preferences, and cached subscription status.

MP3 files you have already downloaded to your Music/NoNoise Ai folder are not automatically removed. Delete those manually from your Files or Music app before or after uninstalling.

Any audio currently being processed on our server at the time of uninstall will be automatically deleted once the processing job expires (within 24 hours).

  1. Long-press the NoNoise AI icon on your home screen or app drawer.
  2. Tap Uninstall and confirm.
  3. All local data is permanently erased.
04

Clearing App Data via Android Settings

You can wipe all app data without uninstalling using Android's built-in settings:

  1. Go to your device's Settings → Apps.
  2. Find and tap NoNoise AI.
  3. Tap Storage.
  4. Tap Clear Data. This permanently deletes all processing history and preferences.
05

Requesting Server-Side Deletion by Email

If you believe an audio file you uploaded is still on our server and wish to request its deletion, contact us by email. Because we do not store user accounts, please include as much detail as possible (approximate upload time, file name) so we can locate and remove it.

We will confirm deletion within 48 hours of receiving your request.

No Account or Personal Data to Delete

NoNoise AI requires no account and collects no personal information. There is no user profile, no cloud-synced data, and no database entry associated with you personally.

The steps above cover all data that NoNoise AI stores. There is nothing else to delete.
