TikSave does not collect personally identifiable information. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any information that identifies you as an individual.
No account creation or sign-in is required to use the app. You install it, paste a link, and download — that's all.
The only data sent from the app is the TikTok URL you paste, which is sent to our API server to fetch the video download URL. This URL is not stored, logged, or shared.
When you paste a TikTok link and tap download, the app sends that URL to a third-party API service (RapidAPI) to fetch the video download information. The API returns the video URL, title, author, thumbnail, and other metadata.
The app then downloads the video directly to your device using your internet connection. This download happens entirely between your device and the video hosting server.
We do not store, cache, or log any video content. We do not retain your download history. The API request is transient and does not create a permanent record.
Storage / Media (Video) — Required to save downloaded videos to your device. On Android 13+, we request READ_MEDIA_VIDEO and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (for older versions).
Internet — Required to make API requests and download videos from TikTok servers.
Notifications — Optional. Used to show download completion notifications. You can deny this permission and the app will still work.
You can revoke any permission at any time via Android Settings → Apps → TikSave → Permissions.
TikSave uses the following third-party services:
RapidAPI — The app uses the "TikTok Download Without Watermark" API hosted on RapidAPI. When you paste a link, the URL is sent to RapidAPI to fetch video metadata and download URLs. RapidAPI's data practices are governed by their own Privacy Policy.
No analytics or advertising SDKs — TikSave does not integrate analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage.
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to retain or delete on our end.
Downloaded videos are saved to your device storage. You can delete them at any time using your device's file manager. Uninstalling the app removes all app data and preferences from your device.
TikSave is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any user, including children. Since no personal data is collected, the app presents no specific data privacy risk to younger users.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
